About Our Founder

I am Cindy the founder of the BabyWearers of Bozeman.  I am a stay at home mom with five children, ages 8, 6, 4, 2 and 2 months.  There is no job like being a Mother, the trials, responsibility and rewards cannot be compared with anything else.  In my short journey I have realized how helpful having a baby carrier is.  Without mine I would not be able to get my dishes done, would not be able to take hikes where no stroller can go, would not be able to soothe and comfort my babies so well.  I am here to share the joy of babywearing with you, like so many parents have found.

I wore my first son in a front pack type of carrier, when that soon started to hurt my back we graduated to a framed backpack, which mostly my husband wore on hikes.  With my second child a friend lent me a Moby (stretchy wrap) and I was hooked on the concept of babywearing.  Then I ventured into a mei tai, learned how to use my pouch, and when she was 7 months old braved the woven wrap.  I now feel confident in all types of carriers, but my heart belongs to wraps.
